In sauce pot, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, chives and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in black pepper. Reserve.
Rub pork chops with oil, and lightly season with salt.
Place pork chops on the grill. After two minutes, turn 45 degrees to create diamond-shaped grill marks, then flip after another 2 minutes.
Once flipped, brush with garlic-honey glaze and repeat cooking times for second side (about 8 minutes total but cooking times will vary).
Remove from grill, turning glazed side down, then brush glaze on second side and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
